Nance holding arch is a device consists of two bands placed in either on the upper 1st permanent molars or 2nd decidous molars and solder wire to the middle of the roof of the palate and an acrylic button that provides support. The Nance button can be used as a space maintainer, in cases in which the baby teeth have been lost prematurely, and the first molars need to be prevented from coming forward.
